Thank goodness! The one before this seemed like the end of everything, with Daphne afraid and disapproving - and she's has three more months to learn the particulars of fear. But if she can still question Severus's motives, and offer help, she's strong enough to get through this.
ETA: I'd missed the one that's actually before this; I was referring to Promise, not Performance. Glad to see Daphne perked up, there - not so glad to see her putting her safety on the line.

I'm glad you approve of Daphne's behavior, even if you're worried about her. I'm a bit worried about her, myself. I can't wait to write more! :D
