As being reported that he would reprise his role in a special drama of Hissatsu Shigotonin which will be aired in Spring 2012, ABC・TV Asahi, sharing here 2 screencaps of Koki from their filming -- especially being shared with mrs_koki and to other Koki lovers =D

Just one question: are they having the right to take it away from Koki? Because I don`t think so....From the moment Koki bought it, I think he gave a loooot of money on Torippi.
Hope they will give it back to him:(

He didn't buy Pi-chan, his vet said he could take it home and look after it, I guess until its owners could be located or something.

They took the bird based on the fact the wild Amazon parrots are now classified as endangered, which Koki's parrot wasn't a wild animal. Wild Parrots don't talk...Torripi did. So actually I think he could legally fight to get his bird back.

Someone explain to me how a parrot that was trained by its previous owners to talk is considered a wild animal...much less an endangered one, cause I don't get it. >.< *yes I'm still pissed off about this*

I think even if it has been trained by him, but technically it has been classified as endangered species, the government or someone authorized has the right to do it cause they need to preserve those species. Sadly for Koki =( and Koki even respects and accepts that --that's why he had let go of it and just saying that his home is always open for Torippi. ;-;

It was trained to talk but not by Koki. Only domesticated parrots talk..not wild ones which are actually endangered. Here's the thing though, zoos allover the world, including Japan, have endangered species..yet they get to keep them and yet one person's bird gets taken because someone wants gain a seat in government? That's stupid! Pet shops all over Japan sell those specific birds and those don't get confiscated. Technically private owner ship does help preserve the endangered species, I can see if he was going to cook for dinner or something.

He had no choice to let it go seeing as he wasn't home. I mean they could've waited until he got home so he could have at least said good bye Pi-chan properly...I mean taking it while he was out of town is just cruel. >.<

*for the record I'm not mad at you...just the situation. ^_^*
