When in time did it become acceptable that women may attire themselves in the clothing of men? It were a hanging offense in my village, but now it goes without remark ( Read more... )

Men are perfectly welcome to wear the clothing of a woman. In fact, certain tribes in the northwest Tlingit believe a man should experience life as a woman in order to be a better man.

Aye, a man have not the troubles of we, the weaker sex. But we have not the troubles of men.

I did not think that men might not wish to be frail and meek, and would not dress so lest they be mistaken for and treated as women.

Yeah, they fucking dress up in women's clothing and heels and wigs. Drag shows are fun.

Men can wear women's clothes. Some of the guys I hung out with before I came here went out in women's clothes all the time.
