I'm halfway through the 5th book in the Southern Vampire Chronicles, and am finding it extremely hard to slow down and be appreciative of the story (Lol, not that they're that complex or anything >.>). I'm literally reading through the books until I get to the bits with Eric and or Pam in it and then I'll slow down and read infinitely slowly

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with myself as well.

And no, I have not read any H. P. Lovecraft, and honestly I'm not 100% sure it's the sort of thing that would float my boat. But then again, I am only going off the pop-culture knowledge I've received through osmosis. The closest I have come to reading it is probably either through Gaiman's A Study In Emerald or through The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
