Handed in assignment today. Went to Trivia, where my knowledge of comics assisted me. Not because there was a question on a comic book, but because one of the questions was "What do you call a group of Ravens?"... The answer of which I knew from Sandman, which I am re-reading ( Read more... )

My Mum, sister and I all started watching it, and then decided we couldn't bare it on the basis that it seemed too realistic. We all kept getting cranky at the fact that everything is exactly the same at the end of an episode as at the start.

It is ridiculously realistic. Mum doesn't like that. It makes her cringe. And I can see what you mean about everything being the same at the end as it is at the beginning. But at the same time I can see why it is like that.

My personal favourite is 'An exultation of larks'. Though 'A rhumba of rattlesnakes' is also pretty amazing.

Actually, I always kinda wanted to be a literary nerd. One of the nice ones, not one of the elitest and pretentious ones. Really, I just want to get all of the references.
