God I absolutely adore this! the stark reality of their situation is brilliantly portrayed and that last line? yeah, there had better be more :) Strangely enough I had the same idea when I read about Peter's abilities but as I am far too lazy to write I'm glad that someone far more talented did!

I loved it! I'm a huge sucker for Apocalypse!fic and I think you really captured both the characters and their situation perfectly. I also love the fact that you named this fic after a lyric from my favorite Muse song.
