A glimpse into my personal terror

I watched this movie when I was about four. It terrified me. I still vividly remember the scene with the dog. According the comments on youtube, I am nowhere near alone in being traumatized by the movie after my parents mistook it for a sweet little epic adventure about rabbits.

Ah, Watership Down. I must have watched this movie a dozen times when I was a kid. I loved the psychedelic vision scenes that Fiver has, like fields filling with blood. The book is pretty gnarly too; I don't know where people get off thinking it's a children's book.
