2004 1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Went to the UK for the first time in my adult life. Told my mother the truth. Signed up for 401K. Stood in line at a DMV for six hours. Abstained for a whole year. Found God.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Nope! Well, drink more water is always one and I tend to keep it.

No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, my grandmother.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A better grasp on money!

September 4th, my best friend got married!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finding my feet here in Arizona. Losing 50 pounds.
9. What was your biggest failure?
...gaining 20 of it back.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got sick a couple times, but that comes with working with the public, I think.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A bicycle! But then it got stolen. I paid back a lot of loans, though, and that was worth the money.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mine! I tried hard to be a good person this year.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My mother. One of the weeks in the UK was really hard to get through with her there.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I got a promotion at work! I said "yay" about eighteen times a day for at least a week.

So many: all I did for the first week in Britain was watch music videos. Definitely Crazy Chick by Charlotte Church and that James Blunt song that is just now out in the US.

I have a frustrating relationship with someone at work, but I wouldn't call it hate.

The Faint. Not a new discovery, but a happy calming rediscovery.

A bicycle that someone stole. (Not bitter, I swear!) Oh! And a raise.

Walk the Line, Brokeback Mountain

I turned 23 and didn't really do anything.

Losing more weight, not spending so much time on the stupid internet at the beginning of the year.

Everything the Republicans fucked up. God they make me mad.

Not that many people. I feel really close to everyone even though they're far away.

Everyone at work. Best best new person would have to be Eddie, my roommate.

You can't ignore your problems forever, and solving them is actually more fun.
