its surprising to me that no matter how much i love my life or how happy i am, i get these momentary feelings of despair or sadness like im sure everybody does and i hate it. its so foreign

In most movies most African-Americans (why we call them that, I have no idea) usually die first. While in TV shows, they are shown to be "ghetto" or are used to obtain drugs, mostly crack-cocaine. There are a few exceptions to the rule but we call them lucky.
Oh man, I totally want to sleep on your floor. It'll be like the good ol' times.
