john mccain is coming to speak at our training facility on monday and i was one of 70 employees that was invited to his speech ...

... but i already scheduled a new hire orientation for like the exact time that he's supposed to be speaking. i'm not a mccain supporter but i'd still really like to go.

i got my iphone today and it's adorable!!

also while i was waiting for a cab on my streetcorner today a crackhead stopped me and said "girl you so fine you make me wanna go sober."

that was almost as awesome as the iphone. almost.

will someone buy me like an entire case of samoas and mail them to me?? i cannot find them anywhere in portland and i need them in my life.

i'll pay you!!

in other news, fleet week is over and (most of) my boys have gone home. i'll miss them, but mostly i'll miss all the attention, adoration, and free liquor.

my grandmother is dying and simultaneously losing her mind and her dignity. the man that has loved her so completely for sixty years may soon be too old to take care of her the way she needs. i worry about him the most.

i'm going to bed because i have an early meeting for work tomorrow. we start dressing the models & coordinating accessories to the dresses this week. our first show is chicago at the end of february. i'm hoping i get to go to the greece show. cross your fingers for me.
