Title: Fame
Pairing: (Girl! Jonghyun) JongYu
Rating: PG 13
Summary: With always getting everyone's attention, all she ever wanted was his.
She sits up at her mirror and takes the black pencil in her hand and carries it on the top of her eye lids; drawing the bold straight line that reached one end to the other. She opens her eye and looks at her master piece. As she felt the water in her eyes start to rise, she blinks them from trying to keep the after from running out of them and then continues to do the same on the other.
A knock on the door was heard. “Junghee 2 minutes?”
She pulls back and tops the pencil in place. She gave the guy a nod and grabs her brush and finishes the last minutes touch ups on her face.
“Junghee?” Her manager enters. “Ready?”
She puts down her brush and look down at her phone that was beside her the whole time.
She picks up the devise along with her ring that was chain around her neck. She can’t help but feel the insecurities inside her, but knowing her she has to keep moving forward.
She holds the ring gently on her lips and kisses it softly. She sighs into the kiss and pulls back to swallow the lump in her throat. She sends him a light smile.
She hands him the phone in his hand and grabs the mic on the other and races off on to the stage.
A few months pass by and she’s already up at the top with her stardom. Concerts, events, advertisement, and fan signings all came her way. All of her dreams reaching without a limit.
“BLING, BLING, JUNGHEE! BLING, BLING, JUNGHEE!” her fans yell.
She smiles at the call of her name, but the grip on her phone only gets harder.
Her smile was overflow with joy, but her eyes had that look that made them want to cry.
She was happy.
No, she wanted to believe that she was happy.
But it hurt even more, even though she was already broken.
Finally the moment she’s all been waiting for. The one thing she never would have thought to ever receive as a young artist and even as a newbie, an award.
She would have never thought that her voice would have never got her so far. And yet she still walks up to the stage from the call of her award, all but still doesn’t believe she made it this far.
She has so many people she wants to thank, so many people that she wants to name, but there was only one comes to mind.
“Thank you everyone. Really thank you, thank you the staff, Manager Hoon thank you soo much, I love everyone that helped me get this far, and helped me with so much, but-
I have one person that I really want to thank.
You see, if it wasn’t for this person, I would have never thought of pursuing my dream.”
She lets out a small sigh as he comes to mind. “You see this person means so much to me, the world, and he’s right now doing what he needs to do, just like I’m doing the same, he’s doing what he needs to do to help himself and his family and his friends, following his dream, and just like his, he push me to follow mine.”
“Is there anything you like to say to him?” says the Announcer.
She swallows the same small lump that kept growing every time she speaks about him.
“Jinki, thank you so much, thank you for doing this for me, for us, for helping me, everything, but-
I wish you were here with me, but I understand that you can’t and I respect that,”
he looks directly at the camera in front of her. “But just so know, I love you Jinki”
“I love you too Junghee”
She stops. Everything stops.
She can’t breathe, she can’t think, she can’t even talk.

She turns around slowly towards where the voice came from.

She looks up at the man carrying the black gym bag, from the black boots to the camouflage green suit to the green army cap that was on his head, who was smiling straight at her.
“J-Jinki” she says in shock.
He flashes the biggest and cheesiest smile at her; the one he knows she loves the most.
She drops everything in sight, and before she knew it, her legs were running up to him.
“Junghee baby you’re going to ruin your make up, if you don’t stop. Don’t you want to at least go back to finish watching the awards?”
As she sat on his lap, Junghee grips tighter around his neck as her tears were rolling down her face. He feels her shake her head on his neck.
“Junghee…” he smiles.
“N-No, I-I’m no-not go-ing b-back… I-I’m stay-ying he-here” she can help but sob more in her boyfriend’s arms.
“But baby please stop crying, you know I don’t like it when you cry.”
She pulls back from her sobs. “I-I ca-can’t”
“Junghee”
“I-I’m sor-ry, I-I’m t-trying, b-but I-I’m so con-confused”
He pulls back to touch her cheek on her quivery face. “What about?”
“I-I’m not s-sure if I-I shou-ld b-be h-happy or-or p-pissed.
You-you neve-r ca-called, a-and I w-was so-so wo-worried a-an-“
“Baby” he brings his hand on her head and started rubbing her scalp to try to calm her down. “Baby I’m so sorry about that, I really am.”
“I m-missed y-you so m-much”
“I missed you too baby”
He looks up to catch her eyes looking back at him and sends her his smile. “I love you Junghee”
She smiles even though her quivering hasn't stop. “I l-love y-you to-too Jinki”
He brings each other close together and with the soft and gentle touch he has, he kisses her lips with a smile.
