I've got a new visitor who has recently started walking along the handrail and past my window every day.

He'd seen some peanuts hanging in the bird feeder next door!

We have lots of squirrels around. I felt really bad when we had to take down a pin-oak tree because I know they were super into the acorns. Meanwhile, the roots of the pin oak are spawning new saplings all the time, so they may just have to wait.
