Hahaha! I was convinced Jack was Lou's husband until the end, but going back to re-read...you implied that, but never actually said it! The email that identifies Jack without showing the narrator's way of referring to him-- very clever touch!

Oh thank you for going back and re-reading it! I appreciate that! I do often worry that the stories I write need a second read and that people won't bother! So I try hard to get the balance of it being a story you can understand if you read it once but hopefully you will find more clues and details if you read it more than once!
