*Is staring wide-eyed at the screen, hand clutched over his heart.* ... What did... that...

*It seemed fairly straight-forward: Adachi screws up royally with something, happens to say the worst thing he could've just then, and gets shot for it. He can see a screwup like Adachi dreaming something like that--except for that grin. Except for the smile.*

*Something is off.* What was that?

[He's tired, he's cranky, and some kid is speaking English into his ear. He looks down at the Dreamberry, raises an eyebrow and shrugs. Adachi knew very little English-- only enough to decipher greetings and goodbyes. Sentences in between were lost with the occasional words that filtered out. What being one of them.]

I don't speak English.

*And by sheer coincidence, that word happens to be Danny's reaction to this unexpected, unintelligable garble.*

... Wait, what?

[... Jeez, she nearly had a heartattack. What she saw gives her much to think about.]

The nightmares are particularly strong lately.

[ there's the view of the wall behind him, the curve of a shoulder, and very little else before the call is disconnected.

before the screen goes blank, though, the picture blurs, swings around as if the holder of the dreamberry were either setting it down or throwing it aside.

it's just a flash, a mere, blurred image, of a man's face, pale and drawn and turning away as if that alone could push aside the memory of the displayed dream nightmare. ]

Ryotaro-

[He knew it was him, the first name left his tongue with little to kno thought and he seized up. He'd been hung up on, and he had no idea whether she should try and speak to him or not.]

[Seeing all these dreams were beginning take a toll on Rise. There had been too many nightmares these week, and she's had her own for a while now. She's just lucky hers hadn't been broadcasted yet and she hoped that it would stay that way.

And that smile of his just at the end... It disgusted her.]

You're lucky that she really didn't...

You should stop taking dreams so seriously.

It's kinda hard not to when it comes to you, Adachi-san. Who know what you're really thinking.

[Hear that? The lack of sympathy in her voice. Yeaaah...]
