Condemnation
It galled Adam that he'd had so little time to celebrate his victory over Ianto.
Poor, defenceless... Bitter. Twisted. Darling Ianto. And, what had made it even better, Jack knew all about what made him tick. Or thought he did.
Adam threw his head back and crowed, and the Weevils around him roared their displeasure.
Weevils! They carried no anger, no bitterness, no regret. Not a shred of passion glimmered -even dimly - in their thick, grey skulls. They had nothing he could use to feed his growing hunger, as Jack Harkness, damn his eyes, got to work restoring his team.
