026. [accidental video]

[Know what sucks? When you get used to having someone around, even if they're a total nerd and sometimes super annoying, and you go to their room one day to hang out and return the blanket you may have totally stolen a week or so ago--

--and the room is empty.

She hasn't seen Tim in a few days, but that's not that different. His stuff was always ( Read more... )

[Alberic believes that walks are always beneficial to one's health, and he is taking a turn around some of the mansion's hallways in a recovery of the last event, sporting his finest silk dupiani waistcoat.

And then he comes across a rather distressed looking young woman. Concerned, as any gentleman should be, he stops before her on his walk.]

...excuse me, miss? Are you quite all right?

[...Sup, Robert De Niro in fancy clothes. Not that looking like a famous actor will make Santana NOT SUSPICIOUS.]

Uh. Yeah. [She's just...going to continue walking.]

[He does a bit of a hop-skip to catch up to her, concerned.]

Young lady, you don't look at all well. Surely something is wrong. Is there anything I can help you with?

[Oh god why is he following her]

Is that some creepy old man innuendo? Cause I'm seriously not in the mood to be harassed.

[If she ever stops anywhere in the open, there will be a brunet nation soon afterwards, silently offering her a cup of tea, the temperature maybe one degree too hot to drink but nearly perfect.]

[Well that's a weird thing to suddenly come across. She stops and stares. She vaguely knows this guy (Poland's husband, she's pretty sure), but that doesn't exactly make it less strange for SUDDEN TEA ATTACK.]

...Hey.

[He looks a bit ...less... than normally. It's hard to put a finger on less what, but certainly less. He's still smiling the calming smile of his, though.]

You seemed like you'd need it. It's camomilla tea; there is no sugar in it yet, but if you need some, I have it with me.

[She instantly gets prickly.]

Why would you think I needed tea?

He doesn't intend to reply - until he realises that that's Tim's room she's leaving.

That's Tim's room.

Empty.

Just like J's was.

"Where's Tim?" There's a note of panic in his voice that he can't quite suppress.

I hate you and your prose. itsahotone April 28 2011, 20:18:06 UTC
Well. The fact that someone else doesn't know where Tim is doesn't exactly do a lot for Santana's not-worry. Before, she could rationalize that maybe he just switched rooms and was stupid enough not to let her know.

Apparently that's not looking to be the case.

"If I knew that, do you think I'd be here in an empty freakin' room?" she snaps, not even sure who she's talking to.

My prose loves you too. ~smile~ 40410 April 28 2011, 20:21:42 UTC
"Where's his stuff?"

Maybe she moved it. Maybe someone moved it. It's not likely, he doesn't believe it for a second, but he has to ask because the alternative is Tim having left the mansion altogether.

"Are you hard of hearing? Do you not know much English?" She's seriously not impressed with this guy's brainspan. "Because the only thing I see in that room is the blanket I left there. Feel free to come and roll around on it or use it to make a nest or whatever. I don't care."

It's possible she is starting to freak out just a little.

[Brennan, with her fabulous skinny jeans and knee-high boots, is just walking down the hall, minding her own business, when the scariest-looking teenager she's ever seen comes storming down the hall in the opposite direction. She's genuinely afraid of what will happen when the pass each other. The girl looks unafraid to punch a complete stranger. Her eyes dart around for an open door to duck into, but no luck. Shit.

Then, her mouth decides to completely betray her.]

Nice day today...

[Oh god!]

[So, Santana doesn't know this chick. If it helps, she gets a slightly less angry look on her face when she sees the woman's pretty awesome boots.

Of course, then the new person spoke.]

Oh, yeah, fan-freakin-tastic. Glad you're enjoying it so much.

[action and thanks, that's pretty much how I'd react to her. XD ] bone_genius April 29 2011, 05:01:44 UTC
[Fear. Oh god, angry adolescents. How should she react? Smile? What if she interprets that as being condescending? What would Booth do? Straight faced. Go for straight faced. And confident. Teenagers are like lions, you can't let them see you're afraid.]

I'm.... enjoying it. Well enough, anyway. I'm sorry that it doesn't seem to be going as well for you.

[That last statement comes out sounding almost like a question. That's the best she can do. She can't quite work up the courage to ask the angry girl why she's so angry.]

Unless you can fix that, I don't really care.

[She's usually at least slightly more polite to adults, at least at first. She's just...so not happy right now.]

Hell the fuck no. You treat people like crap and then when it hurts you act like this. Big fucking shit. Take a little of your own medicine back or show a little sympathy.

That doesn't even make sense, half-breed. Unless you have something to say that I'll hear as words instead of a bunch of trombones like Charlie Brown's parents, I'm done here.

[Stomping awaaaay, stomp stomp.]
