Amen, sister. We downloaded the last week of Conan episodes and they were truly landmark shows in terms of both host shenanigans as well as overall quality. Great stuff. I miss that crazy bastard already and cannot WAIT for September when he returns to (hopefully) utterly fist"love" Jay and NBC.

This isn't the first time Jay has pulled this shit. Back when Dennis Miller had a tremendously clever and popular talk show opposite Jay in 1992, the newly enthroned Jay Leno started warning his booked guests that if they appeared on Dennis (or Arsenio Hall for that matter) that they would be banned from the Tonight Show. This is the primary reason Dennis ended up getting offed. Don't GET me started on the culpability flow chart for Jon Stewart's original prime time talk show.

Agreed. Conan's farewell was classy to the max. I'm sure we'll see him again soon. I HOPE we'll see him again soon. He has the support to make it happen.

Can you watch hulu.com? I've been watching a few episodes on there. Agreed that Conan handled the situation with such grace and panache that it made me wish I had been watching his show more regularly.
