As soon as he got the news from Miranda via text, Sunny was out the door and heading out. When he got to their building the doorman let him in and he rushed up to the right floor. He moved down the hallway and knocked on the door. He was really worried about Maggie.

By the time Sunny got to the door, Miranda had gotten Maggie out of the bedroom and into the living room. The doctors were working on preparing her grandmothers body to be taken to the funeral home, and Andrew had convinced them to wait until Maggie had left before removing her. Maggie had been sitting relatively calmly on the couch ever since, waiting patiently for Miranda to decide it was time to go.

When Sunny knocked on the door, Miranda got it open and gave him a half smile. "She's in the living room."
