Klaus was just fine with that, but it didn't leave him overly impressed with the holiday.
Still, humans liked it, and he couldn't sit around the suite, staring across the park, figuring how many blocks it was to the house where Elijah and Rebekah were. The actual concept of dressing up was a little ridiculous--though he'd been happy enough to do it for the decade dance. That in mind, he'd refused to pull back out that tux, but he'd gone for a similar era, though more mobster than gentleman about town.
He turned when he heard Claire's voice and took in her costume with a growing smirk.
"Very, very nice, love."

When he finally looked at her, she smirked while doing a slow little turn so he could take in the whole costume.
"Thank you." She replied then as she faced him again. "And thank you for having them rush it over."
Making her way over to where he was sitting, she perched on the arm of his chair, crossing her legs while tapping the riding crop lightly against his thigh. "Why don't you call them?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

Her question made him scowl a bit, though. "Because I don't want to, yet."
He had to think. Make sure they wouldn't just...toss him back out when he showed up on the doorstep.

"Are you nervous?" She asked softly, not really considering the fact that it was probably dangerous to ask him too many questions. Claire had always been the reckless sort but she would also guess that he really didn't have too many people to talk to.
