He landed on the sidewalk outside the shop. It was night, after all, and more or less an emergency. The few people who might possibly see him weren't worth worrying about. He knocked on the door of the empty coffee house, leaning with arms crossed while he waited to be let in.

Somehow he had the feeling that he'd have to get used to this kind of thing. After all, he'd signed up to handle the law aspects of Adam's new company, and getting people with abilities out of trouble would probably be a large part of that.

Claire figured this was a good taste of what it was going to be like once the new company got started since this was probably the sort of thing they would have to deal with on a constant basis.

At the knock on the door, she glanced up and then moved around the counter to hurry over to the door. She figured it was Nathan because Ethan would just let himself in with his keys. Opening the door after peeking through the blinds, she gave a small smile. "Hey. Want coffee or anything?"

"Making sure." She turned, walking back to the counter to get him something. "Yeah, he had to call the girlfriend and then he said he'd be here." She nodded, sighing a little bit.
