After Claire found out the address to the house in the Hamptons that Adam bought on a whim, it was fairly easy to convince Sylar where they should head without really telling him what they were going.  She was just a curious girl after all and she wanted to see what the houses were like in the Hamptons because she had heard there were some that

Hiro sits on the edge of the group, making sure that he's not particularly seen or that anyone will bother with him. He put his present on the table, but it's sort of hidden by the rest of the presents. Right now, Peter's empathy would register him as a complete blank - he's killed his emotions so much that there is nothing inside him at the moment. He thinks it's better if they don't notice him because this is supposed to be Sylar's big day and he really has no right to be here. But Claire has asked him to be here, so here he is.

Hiro stands there, feeling awkward and childish, but unable to do anything else. It's at times like these that he knows why his father thought him hopeless. He stares at the floor, not wanting to look as pathetic as he feels.

Hiro bows a bit. "I know that you and I have our differences and since this is your day, I would like your permission to stay if that is all right with you. If not, I will leave without protest."

"Thank you," Hiro replies with another bow. "I hope you enjoy your present." He starts looking around to see where everyone is.

Hiro blinks, confused. "Yes. It is your birthday, is it not? It would be rude not to give you a present for your birthday."

OOC: No problem. I understand completely.

Hiro shrugs. "You are part of Claire's family. Much as we have our...problems with each other, I would still treat you courteously for her sake and the sake of the rest of your family." Much as he can see changes in Sylar's personality that being with his family have wrought, he's still uncertain of how much he truly has changed. At the moment, he's watching and waiting to see if the changes will last.

Whenever Sylar finds it, it's a box with gold paper. It's three 6 inch Japanese scratch kit figures - Kirk, Spock and McCoy from the new movie. They are not put together or painted. The note reads, "Happy Birthday. I thought you might prefer to do the detailing yourself. Hiro"
