I haven't read this yet, but I have to say, clever name choices for your OC's. 'Veritas' means 'Truth,' and your OC's are named 'Veri' and 'Tas.' Very clever.

(...Was I supposed to figure that out...? Or was it an unintentional thing you did without realizing and I only picked up on it because I'm a geek who read the various Deltora Quest series...? "Veritas, Hopian, Forta, Fortuna, Fidelis, Honora, Joyeu", as it went. Yes. I did more or less memorize it. Yes. I am a geek. Aren't we all?)

Okay, now I've read it. And I have to say it's an...interesting idea. But I really dislike super-powered original characters... It...bugs me. It makes me feel as though the OCs are taking over the show and the main characters are being made to look...less important.(This opinion could just be due to all the times I've read stories where said super-powered OCs turned into Mary-Sues...Trust me, I know how easy it is to go down that dark, frightening path ( ... )
