[Usagi looks around, but doesn't see anything.]

I'm Tsukino Usagi. This is a place called Mayfield. It's...well. It can be pretty horrible. It's supposed to be like America in the 1950s, but it's a whole lot worse.

Oh! [she jumps, seeing Usagi there, before recovering]

I'm Nozomi Yumehara! It's nice to meet you, Usagi... I think. I... I woke up, found myself here, couldn't find my Pi-- er... my special watch and this strange guy showed up in my room and... [she shivers a bit. Then it dawns on her what Usagi said.]

...wait. America? In the 1950s? H-How?! And what do you mean 'worse'?

Oh, I didn't mean to frighten you!

[She nods sympathetically.] It's like that for everyone, I think. I woke up without any of my stuff, and the guy who was supposed to be my 'father' -- oh, right. That's another thing. They put us into fake 'families'. The weird guy was probably either your not!dad or your not!brother.

But no, I was missing all my stuff, my fake 'dad' turned out to be...not so nice.

No one really knows why we're all here. And what I mean by 'worse'...well, they destroyed the place this past weekend. I couldn't transf-- I couldn't do anything to help anyone.

Wait, destroyed? But, if it was destroyed, then how...? [she looks around. Certainly doesn't LOOK like it's been in the middle of a nuclear apocalypse!]

[she finally gets to see Sanguinius and has to restrain herself from jumping again]

[ Nadeko is just on a small walk through town when she spots the girl. ... Well, the girl doesn't look that intimidating (even if everyone is slightly scary to Nadeko) so she decides to approach, even if it's a little carefully and hesitantly. ]
