NON DAMNED PEOPLE
That is: living people who are just here the the chili, people who are stuck and don't know why, people who are stuck and do know why and anyone who is not damned. And dead.
You live in the gated community behind the pub! Or the motel - depends on what you dig.
Inside is a little town. You know, those little quaint main street type places with antique shops and ice cream parlors?
Summers Eve:
The village, despite its rather unfortunate name, is a rather pleasant place to live. It’s very pleasant little town. No building is over about three stories tall, and there’s a very Bavarian feel to the place. Not quite gingerbread and pastels, but there is definite influence from Kurt here.
There are shops that could be found in any mid-sized town. Bakeries, coffee shops, butchers, candlestick makers, the whole works. There is not a hospital, or a mall, but there are several apothecary shops, as well as tailors and seamstresses. Think old world, not downtown Manhattan.
The village has a council. Newly arrived souls are brought before them to see if they can stay in the village, or need to take the long walk through the woods - if they are deemed unfit to live in the pub/motel.
Vampires, werewolves, and anything else can hunt in the village or Vista Pines. Death is not permanent, so no one stays dead for more then twenty-four hours.
Order is kept by the council, and by Kevin Ford, who acts as a go-between for the council, and Kurt. He has the power to enforce the law, but most decisions are handled by the council, or by Kurt.
The woods that abut the town, are a different story. There are things in there that will attempt to draw people down the path, and will act as if they are loved ones, or hated enemies. Anything to draw people along the path and out of the protection of the village.
If you're sticking around, you can get a job in Summer's Eve. Or work in the pub or Motel.
Visitors to Vista del Fuego will only be able to see the non damned. Just an FYI.
