What a beautiful cat! I've known a few people whose cats have undergone the radioiodine treatment and they've all had fantastic results, to include people whose cats were either elderly or had other health issues. I know you're still worried - I would be too - and I wish you and Nacho the best of luck.

Thanks, safiyabat - your optimistic view of the procedure matches what I've been learning today - apparently it is so effective, and relatively safe - that the next appointment available at UC Davis for the actual treatment is August. Now I'm trying to find out if I could have it done any sooner at a different location - farther away, of course. Ironically, the other location is in my hometown, and Nacho and I have made this particular trip dozens of times, before my parents passed away - but we were both younger then!
