Back about seven months ago when Pete and I were still living in Farmington Hills, Michigan, our then 9 year old cat, Lovie, started having problems where he was peeing in places that were not his litter box.  Under the suspicion that he was having urinary tract problems, Pete took him to a vet on Friday morning to have  test done

Do you have a copy of the consent form? If the language in the form indicated that you were willing to allow a suprapubic tap you might not be able to get a case out of it. I mean, it's ethically wrong to administer anesthesia without explaining it to you but legally you might be in a bind. I hope you can figure it out.

I don't know any lawyers, though. As you can imagine I don't like the idea of malpractice lawyers. They give me the creeps.
