FREAK!

I just about had a heart attack. I opened my Word doc for 'I Am Going To The West' to find part nine, 1500 words worth, was gone. I have no clue how it happened. Thankfully, Eudora creates a copy of any file you send as an attachment, and that copy had part nine still on it. But till I found it, I was in a panic. I've had that happen with word. I had the entire document vanish from my work computer. Fortunately, I had sent a copy to myself to edit at home and never got around to it.

Ack!
Can I just say that saving something as a googledoc is a very good idea as it prevents just this sort of thing, even if you don't like writing the damn thing as a googledoc. If you don't have a googlemail account, it's worth getting one just for that.

I did! But that copy was missing part nine as well. so it happened at some point between sending the copy to Casey and uploading it to Google docs. And Word is showing the last time I modified the doc as Oct 12. so it's like it went back in time.
