nice chapter. Liked the flashback here, also liked how they both reacted so grown-up after the "fight." It would have been (and would still be) easy to have Ez act like an over grown child, but like you pointed out he is a grown man, and can most certainly act that way. I like how he is going to stick around no matter what and watch out for Charlotte, just like she does for him I'm sure.

It's one of the interesting things about writing immortals, and trying to strike a balance in relationships that started when one was a student or child. The underpinnings of that relationship are probably always there, but the relationship has to evolve. So I'm very pleased that you approved of how I tried to handle it :) Thank you.
