Notes: 3:10 To Yuma/Magnificent Seven/Highlander, a story in the ' Echoes the Sea' AU series, Ben Wade/OFC. This exists entirely due to the repetitive poking efforts of ninjababe and her posse. This story is set a few weeks after the events in strangevisitor7's story Child Of My Heart.

I like the bitter sweet feeling to the beginning of this chapter and love how you segue into the past so easily. The description of Ben and Charlotte's growing relationship is great and then...there's the cliffhanger!

You must continue now :) I have so many questions!

Writing stories that incorporate flashbacks is a challenge, but very rewarding when you can connect the present to the past. Helps that I started writing fic in the Highlander and Forever Knight fandoms , both shows that incorporated a flashback storyline in virtually every episode.
