Wow! The resolution at the end was a huge surprise, but in retrospect, definitely fit with what would be best for all of the characters involved. Very good story, thank you for sharing.

Initially, I'd planned an 'adventure' as part of this story, but it didn't fit. So, that's coming next. (Actually, I have a few adventure stories in mind. Let's see if I ever write them!) Jack's sensible, and I think he thinks he's really going to get the ship he wants [g] I'm not sure Triona is going to agree however :)
As for the date... yeah. But I've lost the ability to write smut over the years, so everyone will just have to use their imaginations! And to think I used to be able to write NC17 stuff at one time. If I ever get that ability back, I'll have to do a 'lost scene'.
LOL! That's what I get for being preemptive. I'm frequently asked, "but where's the sex?" I feel all guilty I didn't live up to the expectations of the audience or something :)

Wheeee! Jack Sparrow fits surprisingly well into the ST universe, and I like the idea of his having pissed off the Ferengi *cackle* cheeky bugger. Plenty of Methos too and I love how territorial Triona is with her precious ship(s) :)

Jack does keep busy, doesn't he? I had no real idea Triona was that attached to her ships till this story. Another case of the characters deciding, Heh. As for the hot pink jumpsuit -- I'm just evil [beam]
