This takes place about a year before I Remember You Not Fondly.

Summary: Lucia visits Duncan when she needs help understanding her parents.

Thanks, sweetie :) Duncan loves trying to fix things. Like with Gina and Robert. He seems a natural when it comes to managing his friends' problems and their kid's problems [g]

I followed this over from crossovers 100. I have been getting into highlander (starting season 2 now) and looking for fiction. I really liked this. Now, I relize this is a samll part of a huge world you created but it stands alone and has peaked my interest for more. So I ask, where should I go from here? I want to read more in this world of yours.

Basically a lot of flashbacks spanning from the beginning of the series to the present, even though they fall later in the timeline.

Thanks :) At lunch today I mentally wrote a scene where Methos shows up a it later to make Duncan's day complete [g] Then it morphed into a scene of them sitting at a campfire the first week of the new colony settlement on Imladris. Then lunch was over, which is probably a good thing since I do need to finish the WIP part tonight!!

I like the idea of Duncan as Lucia's confidant since she was a little girl, and th title is just perfect. And how delightful, that Lucia has picked up from everyone else that, not only can you get lots of stuff from Duncan, but that (even when he grumbles) it makes him really happy to get the chance to look after the people he cares about in that way.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm really very fond of this story, and I liked the relationship between Lucia and Duncan.
