<1>as he shoved her out into the sun to burn.
*sigh* Why am I not surprised? I hope he's a speed reader. (You're not the only one who's twitchy. Although I can't really fault Methos for the journals. He could hardly have expected to have to hide things from *himself*.)

See, I told you yesterday it wasn't going there [g]

I'm just guessing, but my assumption would be that he sets his journals up the same way, so it's fairly easy for him to sort through looking for particular threads and such. That and a certain matter of luck that he came across stuff he could use early on. And I don't know what he discovered when he went rooting around the computer in those first few hours either. He could have discovered a great deal from there as well.

Oh, and the twitchy, yeah [g] I have major trouble doing bad things to my characters. I have a feeling I'm going to be traumatized once this is all over. Hopefully it will be worth it in the end and it's not too much of a 180 for my regular readers. I'm not sure if people have certain expectations on the tone of my fic or not.

Holy shit. And I read that before I went to bed. Oh, god, poor Triona.

But surely--he still needs her because he wants to get back to his own universe, right? He's probably not going to seriously injure her? *hopes*

It's not like she won't heal. That sounds so harsh, I know, but it's the truth. So he can do just about anything with no permanent physical damage. I think, at this point, he's considering not going back. And he can use that indecision to make her a lot more 'agreeable'. What would she do to get Methos back? Pretty much anything. And he knows it. The master manipulator. But she gets to burn out in the sun for a bit, because the next part is back to Kronos side of the mirror.

That's true. It's just possible if he decides to have sex with her, it might not be violent--it might be him proving that he's better at something than the Methos she knows.

Not going back--well, this would certainly be an interesting place to him. But I would think that he would turn it over and decide to go back because he belongs there, he has whatever he wants there, and because he would have a damn hard time getting everyone else to accept him.

But who would know? If he comes back, after Triona suffers a tragic 'accident', and he as the grieving widower just takes off for a few decades, nobody back home would even realize it wasn't their Methos. No one else knows about the switch, or that it's even possible. It could be the perfect situation for him.
