Went to work for a few hours this morning and then Nin picked me up and we headed to Salt Lake City. Made good time, got checked in, and will be joining the wine social here in a bit. We saw Natalie last summer with our local Symphony at a "Pops" concert performed outside facing one of our local ski hills.

When she plays you just got to get up and dance.

Last time I saw her was playing in a coffee house in Santa Cruz - quite a different venue this time.

Saw Coriolanus tonight and, man, Hiddleston can rock some Shakespeare. I really enjoyed it.

It wasn't from SLC, I think it's too cold for wine grapes. We have a winery near us, but they buy their grapes in California and make the wine here.

There are a few dry towns, like there are dry counties in the South, but they are small rural towns. Even Marriott hotels, a bastion of LDS business, has bars in their hotels :)
