I finally gave up on Supernatural. I'd been on the fence, keeping on recording it, not quite sure if I was going to stop watching entirely, but spoilers from last week's decided it. I seriously need to follow your lead and do the same. For some reason, I can't stop watching it.

Just curious, what spoilers did you see? Because I really raged in my LJ post about a certain horrific, gut-churning act, one that still bothers me NOW when I think about it.

Probably the same thing? I didn't read your post since you had an image warning, and I really didn't want to see it. My final straw was reading about the dog.

That's exactly what I raged about. My gifs were, uh, statements I wanted to share with Ben Edlund. I hate him so hard now.

I've been wanting the show to end since about the middle of the sixth season {it was supposed to end after 5 seasons}, and stuck it out until the second to last episode of season 6. My whole thought on the show now is "I can't even". It's a shame because it was one of my favorite shows for the longest time.

At least I have the 5 seasons I want on DVD. I can just pretend it ended there.

It is a shame. I have never seen the show, but I've read up about it...in part to decide if I wanted to see it. The first several seasons sounded good...then, it just seemed to go nowwhere.

Sometimes, I miss that our shows are not more like the Japanese shows, which tend to follow a story arc and when they get to the end, sometimes, they just let them end.

(Not always, occasionally, even the Japanese shows have a lame last season. ;-)
