Been meaning to ask thoughts on this term. I see it used a lot, and I sort of get it, but I don't [g] So what does the term 'fandom boyfriend' mean to you? Is it your favourite character? The one, if he were real, you'd want as a boyfriend? Or the one who'd want to be your boyfriend? Or is it more along the lines of a friend who's a boy? None of

Well, I decided to go with the first commenter, since I had a meme to post. I don't connect the actors with the characters in these sorts of things, so I didn't account for whether I'd want to follow the actors careers or not. And I'm not really involved in any fandoms currently, not like I used to be at any rate, so that wasn't really a factor either.
And now, I don't think I understand the term anymore than I did to start! [g]

But if I used yours, I guess Peter wins. After all, he's the only actor whose fanclub I've ever joined, and I've seen him more in RL than anyone else as well.

If I were to have a character as a boyfriend, I would probably pick Remus Lupin--if I could seduce him away from Sirius Black. (They're kind of my OTP)
