White Collar actually has a fair amount of het fic, mostly Neal/Alex, but that pairing just doesn't do anything for me. I'm so fickle, I really am [g] Not that I really read fic much anymore these days, but the concept, you know?

Yeah the het does little for me in this fandom too (wouldn't even go looking for it) unless it's part of Neal/Peter/El which has to be my favourite ot3 ever.

That said, I'm not sure how happy Neal would be with Peter long term (there's something controlling about Peter - and not in a good way - over and above Neal's control orders/anklet.)

In an ideal universe next door I keep wondering about a certain bald AD who obviously didn't end up with a troublesome younger agent (who tilted at windmills and was orally fixated) or a dark haired green eyed rat of a spy who deserved better than a bullet in the brain. Yes, I do wonder as Walter Skinner getting an eyeful of Neal Caffrey and both men being interested.

Tangent, I know.

I primarily see Alex as being a pleasurable fling for Neal, but nothing more than that. Granted, I'm all about the Peter/Ellen/Neal trio, because I think Ellen could be a balancing factor between Peter and Neal.

I love White Collar, but not really connecting with the fic. I've looked at some Neal/Peter and Neal/Peter/Elizabeth. For one thing, the few I've looked at weren't very good. And while I see chemistry between Neal and Peter and even Neal, Peter & Elizabeth, it just doesn't ping with me as far as continuing it outside of canon. I guess there's the possibility of finding a very well done fic and loving it, but so far - meh.
