The nine of swords shows a person sitting up in bed, heads in their hands and clearly in distress with nine swords behind them. It suggests sleeplessness, worry and feeling trapped, especially feeling that your current worries are inescapable. This, especially since it falls in the “past” section of the spread, be about the circumstances that lead to you taking this career change, or it could be the worry you are feeling about it now. I would say that this card also warns against being too preoccupied by your fears and worries about the situation, but also that they are out of your control and that you can acknowledge being overwhelmed by them and the distress they cause

That's a different reading of the 9 of swords than I'm used to, but it fits, especially the need for more sleep. The rest fits too. Thank you.
