An autopiloted you would kind of dimish your inner struggle to find who you are, and that's a big part of life in society. And what's wrong with being an asshole if that is who everyone is at heart and especially when everyone pretends to believe in this "be yourself" shitality?

I don't believe that there is a real you--you have to develop one. Not just because the real you doesn't get along in society, but because the real you isn't really you; it's just your instinct. So nobody could rightfully put themselves on autopilot. Nobody creates an asshole, nobody turns into an asshole, assholes are just undeveloped. And what's this about "boring"? That sure came out of a nun's cunt. Are you trying to lay out the two ends of the personality spectrum? Boring is not at the other end; pacifism is.

You say people who are odd and different are frowned upon, but there are some exemptions. Look at Thoreau, or Martin Luther. Wait... everyone hated Thoreau. Martin Luther and his 95 theses on the door of the church began a revolution. He was different but people loved him. While society hates a rebel they also love alternatives, and it's the alternatives who are going to steal their place in history as legends and the rebels who are forgotten. So are odd ones really frowned upon? or just frightened of?

frightened, the status quo of popes tried to kill martin luther ( even like the martin luther king), and the other status quo, the princes who wanted more power, supported him. so, unless you have backing from powerful people who would like things changed for their benefit, you're going to be burned at the stake like joan of arc (who was revered as a saint in france for helping win the war in god's name, and a heathen in england for helping the french win the war in god's name)

cory i need your advice i found the buster sword and masemune for sale at about $200 for each but masemune is more expensive. now of course i do want this and on several obviouse level i do need it. ill probably go with buster blade however i want you input first try to be quick because the offer where i get a cover for it free ends on the 10th and secondsly i would want to possibly lend moeny from campbell like $80 but ill ask him that also id need a place to stash the sword cause parents just dont understand.
