Nothing really wrong with it, that I could see. I like Germany's fits from being a teenager... that was a really good aspect to it.

(As America? I'm not in love with England! The idiot keeps crying on me every time he's drunk and... the feeling is one-sided, really! He thinks I'm a stupid kid, anyway.)

Anyhoo, thank you, thank you for giving it such praise. ;___; ♥ I was rather worried, especially about Germany's personality. He's not as awkward and aloof as he is in the series. But I thought that since he was in a very vulnerable state, he'd act differently. Like he'd cling to any kind of love/comfort he could grab on to.

(As Italy: England DOES get drunk a lot, doesn't he? He's cried on my shoulder while drunk, too, and all he talked about was what happened between you to during the Rev War. I've never seen him talk about anything as much as he talks about you... so... I don't think it's one-sided. *ponders* I hate to say it, America, but... you kinda ARE a kid. You're one of the youngest nations. I say that with the best intentions, though! *whimpers* You're so much fun and a good friend~ :D

That makes total sense. I love this story. I do adore him being sort of shy or awkward, but angry or desperate works for me too.

(I'm not a kid! I'm... I'm an adult! Look, in human terms I'm 19, and that's old enough to drink in most countries that aren't mine! Oh, and I've been in BOTH world wars, and fought my way to victory since I was twelve. So... yeah. And... really? Iggy talks about me? *blink* That's... uh... Really?)

(*snickers* Alright, alright, I get the idea. You're a big boy now, America. *smiles* You really did prove yourself to be a powerful nation during the world wars. That's something to be proud of. Yea, England talks about you A LOT! ^^; I mean, if you ask practically any nation, they'd probably say the same thing. We've all heard the stories a million times over. He really does care about you, America. Makes me jealous... *meek smile*

My version of America is really sad sometimes. I don't like the fandom deciding that he's so damn happy all the time... he's got issues too, just not deep ones like Italy, Germany, Prussia, China, England, France... *headdesk*

I've been around a lot longer than you, so you can trust my judgement on this. *winks* I, too, know the feeling of wanting to be loved... *looks far off*)

Oh yes, I agree. America has had his share of hardships in his short life as an independent nation. While he hasn't experienced the hardships that many other older nations have, you can bet he will. It's tough being a nation and for awhile he was able to taste the glory of being an international superpower. But as history dictates, what rises will eventually fall. America has much to learn from his fellow nations, if only he'd let go of his hero complex and listen.

(There you go again with the 'love' thing! I don't love England, I don't even... really 'like' him. *scoots away a little, uncomfortable with physical contact* I offered to be friends, and he told me no, so screw it. I'm done. Besides, I'm a hero! It's my job to save you guys, not the other way around.)

*sighs, but decides to drop any subject involving England* Okay, okay. I won't pester you about it anymore. The last advice I will give is simply to talk with him. *raises hands a bit* There, I'm done with that. *sighs and smirks* Now, about you saving us... you know that we really don't need anyone's help unless we ask, right? *raises eyebrow*

And I can be the Hero and show up, only without a cape or anything, just me and my awesomeness and a gun and a cure for world hunger, and then... then you'll all see that you needed my help after all. Once I've already saved you. See, I'm in the process of doing it as we speak, right here. You just don't see it. Because my awesomeness is fully-stocked with invisibility powers as well.

*sighs heavily and shakes his head* You're still so young, America. But... *smiles* that's okay. I was a naive young nation once, so I understand. You'll learn in time. Just remember that in times of crisis, help your own people more than other nations. Quite frankly, they need you more; especially nowadays. *looks at his friend in the eye sincerely* Are you understanding this, America?

I'm... well... *thinks it's weird that Italy's actually showing a touch of concern for him -- not many seem to do that, nowadays* I've been helping my own people. I mean, they're fine, yo! They're good. We're even pulling out of Iraq, or... trying to... and even if we're staying in Afghanistan, it's one less thing to worry about, right? I should focus on helping liberate the Middle East some more.

*pats America on the back* I know you've been trying your best. It's not easy getting out of a recession. Your people are strong, so I'm sure they'll be fine. *grins* As for the Middle East... I can't really comment on that. While I agree that it's been getting out of hand lately, I'm not sure if trying to liberate it is the best solution. Then again, it's not really my place to say. The fight in Afghanistan is yours, after all.

Anyway, I noticed your new airport security measures and I think that's good. Your country needs all the protection it can get right now. While I may not be the best in military prowess, I can certainly give advice if you ever need it. We nations need to stick together. At least... that's what I believe, anyway. *looks off wistfully*

Yeah, that one dude trying to blow up his underwear or whatever on my plane wasn't cool. A lotta my people are pissed about the new measures, you know, but I think it's probably for the best. Don't want another... 9/11 incident... *looks uncomfortable* Well, yeah. Terrorism's bad, need to keep it at bay.

Oh! I had a new idea for the airport security that I think is just awesome. Right, so, bomb-detecting miniature robots at the entrance of the airport, and they can like send the message wirelessly back to me! And they're fueled off of salt, so we won't have to worry about that.

I also know how to solve world hunger. *grin* Japanese gundam robot things that shoot hamburger meat! Oh, and more McDonald's franchises in India for the starving kids. They can order off the dollar menu. And I'm going to try and get them to use American currency. Isn't that awesome?
