today i finally received the certificate of eligibility i need to apply for my Japanese visa. so now i need to fill out some more forms (hooray bureaucracy!), boogie over to the Japanese consulate in LA, let them do their thing, and hopefully within 3 days afterward i shall have my visa. annoyingly though, the consulate isn't open on weekends so i' ( Read more... )

LMAO, that gif. That is how I feel every time I take my students on a field trip. Or how I felt yesterday. I don't know what it was, but all those kids ate their wheaties or something, because they were ALL wound up.

Do you teach?

i'm a group leader for a YMCA after school program at an elementary school. my group is the 4th graders.

lol, i know how you feel when the kids get all wound up... i takes a lot of resolve to not just scream "JFC, CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!" at them. we're taking the upper graders (4th - 6th) on the field trip and lately they've been really hyped up and disrespectful and have been giving us attitude like crazy. so i'm not excited to go on an hour long bus ride with them.
