I was going through the Free-For-All post the other day, saw several unanswered prompts. And I have an idea for a community game of sorts ( Read more... )

poll, challenge!

This sounds like great fun! I'm all for it. :D

I just can't decide between fairies and the stepsisters fighting supernatural threats one. *wibbles*

OR A SENTIENT CITY OMG

OMG. HEEEELP.

Hm. Perhaps we can do this as a ticky poll instead? Except it's hard/impossible to change polls, isn't it? Hm.

It's possible to change your vote! ...I don't remember how, but I know it is!

it is, but I can't PICK! I mean - SENTIENT CITY. *stars in eyes* BUT STEPSISTERS FIGHTING EVIL. BUT FAIRIES TRYING TO BE HUMAN.

*flails*

I love several of these, but the faeries would give me an excuse to go back to my fae-plumbers idea from a while back (which... might well work better as a TV show than a novel anyway!).

I think fae plumbers sounds like LOADS of fun! *manic grin*

I may end up running with it even if that prompt doesn't win the poll. Because... fae plumbers. Yes.

Fae. Plumbers.

I am now bouncing with glee over here; that sounds amazing.

I love the idea of the pre-modern roadies, although maybe instead/in addition to being minsterals, they could be conmen, snakeoil salesmen? Like Mad Men but without the grey flannel suits...

A+ -- or that could be one approach, anyway.

Yep, yep, I'm thinking of combining it with my idea of Matthew Settle, Misha Collins and Rami Malek playing a trio of creepy brothers... On the road.

Actually, it's just occurred to me that I'm already plotting out something about sisters who go hunting, though it's not too... horror-y. Can I do both? Sure, I can do both. It's not like I have a life or anything.

THIS DOES SOUND LIKE AN EXCELLENT SOLUTION.

Nice thinking! I'm a bit wary of ever creating another show (because it took time and I still want to write ALL of the three I did do, which is very distracting.)

Having said that, even though I voted for the dragons one (it allows for endless variety between us. With dragons. How can I be the only one to have voted for that.) I am rather taken with the historical re-enactment sit-com and Shakespeare's company...

I, uh, have bits and pieces of my two shows (and the spinoff I dreamed up off one of them) written down. In various places. Uh.

Also I may or may not have come up with another one that I haven't posted, but that I have pretty much an entire pilot written for. *sigh*
