And man oh man, Mammoth Season 1.06. On the one hand, I'm so glad the distressed mammoth calf from the trailer wasn't Angeline! On the other hand... augh, where is Angeline? I keep picturing her all alone and scared somewhere!
Everybody on the messageboard seems to be assuming that the Other John is our John's not-so-dead father. But they're both Andy Serkis, which has got me wondering if Other John is regular John from the future...

oh time travel! so so strange.

How, though?! This was a great series, and it was just reaching some sort of climax, too! I feel cheated! ;D
But yes, another really good episode with a lot going on. I fear for Angeline. I fear even more for Jean-Pierre and for Brother of Thunder and family (although the bit with Kim pulling the faces was kind of amusing, even if it shouldn't have been).
And I just assumed it was "our" John from the future - don't know why all those people took the other opinion. They're wrong. ;D

Another brilliant episode. Gareth David Lloyd as the bass guitarist, John, yum! Did anyone else get the feeling that JJ had a crush on the lead singer J Brightwolf? That comment of J's to JJ about being in a pack sugests J knows more than he's saying. The manager was a bit of an arse, not wanting J to retire from the music scene and practically blackmailing him. YAY for a Torchwood reference from JJ and Danny muttering about calling the Doctor. That kiss of gratitude between J and JJ was sweet and just a little bit hot. Harry saying she wants to film the kiss and sell it on Ebay was funny as hell. Taking out the bad guy with a cymbal and J's water bottle was really funny. Glad none of the band members had done it but was anyone else tempted to write slash fics between the four of them?
John: We were almost called 'Triple JD'.
JJ: Why?
John: *points to each of the band members in turn* John, James, Jack and David.
J: *sarcastically* Oh, well done, John. Now he knows my first name.
John: You love me really.

OMG, the Goth Club. The Goth Club. And the way Nick just dressed up in a top hat and tail coat and fit right in. I died and I am dead.
Also big, big ♥s for Mike complaining to Kate that "I could never marry anyone named Ermintrude!" Hee.

Dude, I would so name my child Ermintrude. And probably be murdered later by them, and rightfully so, but still.

Ermintrude LOL.

Also, I was kind of concerned we never saw Brandon this episode. He seems to be acting sneaky and it is CONCERNING ME. Eek.

...someone please tell me I didn't imagine a finger twitch from Lizzie. Please. BECAUSE THE EPISODE WAS WAY TOO AMBIGUOUS.
Good points: Ellen was every bit as OMG PROTECTIVE as I thought she was going to be, they caught the bastard responsible, and BEN.
BEN. TACKLING THE GUY. AND NOT BEING SUPER AWKWARD RE: STEVE'S EPIC CRUSH. EEEEE.

Not that I watched the scene three times just to be sure or anything.

If she's still down at the beginning of next season, though, I'll be more than slightly pissed off. Still in the hospital, I could probably handle, but at least let her wake up!

I so loved that this episode began with a chance to see the characters relaxed and having fun - they don't do enough of that. Though I must say, Jaime looking longingly at the woods was a bit ominous.
And then I cried like a baby at the end. When the psychic guy was first introduced I really thought they were going to find a way to save his granddaughter, but as the episode went on the more worried I got, and then... oh, man, I bawled.

SERIOUSLY, ISN'T IT? Man, this show just knows where to twist the knife by raising our hopes and then KILLING PEOPLE. *whimper*
