The times are a-changin'... or
... I'm leaving on a jet plane.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a usagi out of my booshi, or given the Nova mascot, out of a tamago.

To make a long, somewhat boring story short (there was lots of returning emails and phone calls), I had been booked by Nova for a flight from Calgary to Osaka on August 15th. However, they goofed up as there is a big national holiday going on in Japan during that week (it seems to me that this might be something that they should be aware of...). This meant that there would be no orientation (heh, such a lovely pun. Oh go check the OED if you want to know why) for that week. So they've bumped my flight back a week (or as the guy on the phone told me, forward a week 0_0) to August 22nd. This means I leave Calgary on the 22nd at 10am and arrive in Osaka at 2:20pm (local time) on the 23rd.

Also, I should have a new layout soonish. I'm nearly done the matching website layout (yep, istyariel.net will finally do stuff besides point you here). Figure on another week, week and a half for lj*. So that means, that unless you can hold your breath longer than David Blane, don't. And if you decide to wait with baited breath, watch out for fish.
*Time guarantee not guaranteed.

Okay, I'm seriously starting to wonder what was in that marshmellow-butterscotch square thingy I had today 0_0 I mean the cafe is a local meeting spot for the Green Party...

layout, japan
