LMAO, awesome story! Just the right balance of humour, action and some minor angsty things that give food for thought. The only problem is that I couldn't remember who Madam Mim was, so I searched YouTube and found a video of her from the Disney film; and I ended up imagining her while reading, which is a bit of a nasty image, when it comes to kissing and all. ;)

Loved the voice of the dragon and his teaching Arthur to fly. Kind of symbolic, the way I see it. And the subtle lesson that Arthur learnt in the end is a very nice tough.

Oh, this was awesome! ARTHUR AS A SPARROW = WIN. I really liked the interaction between him and Merlin, the very lyrical feeling of the italicized sections for Merlin and Mim.
