LOL, the tea episode is based on my friends' preferences actually)) I drink tea with sugar, yet all of my friends (especially the best ones) drink tea without it))) And I remember one of them once saying that tea with sugar tasted horribly)) I remember Sasuke doesn't eat sweets, so maybe he also drinks sugar-free tea?))))
Kakashi has a history of saying wise things to Sasuke))) I love him for it)))
I used to nearly hate Karin before the battle with Killer Bee))) She's still my least fav member of Team Hawk, but she deserved smth nice, I think))) And Juugo is a sweetheart, so I wanted Tsunade to be able to help him)) Besides, he really needs to be close to Sasuke, what with his faith in Kimimaro and all)))
I'm glad you liked the ending. This story was getting so depressing; I wanted the ending to show that there was still hope for Sasuke))))

Wow, this is absolutely awesome! Though I can see why it depressed you. XDD I love the sense of abandonment it conveys, this irrevocable loneliness "in the crowd", which is so hard to fight. And the orange mug as the leitmotif is a great idea. It's so bright, so orange, vibrant, that you can practically envision it throughout the fic. The ending brings hope, and that's such a relief. Great job, love.
