You didn't tell me that you posted. How could you?! ;______;

Even though I'm kind of mad at you now: This is really pretty. XDD
The Doctor's loneliness and the Master's madness are the best combination ever. And you write them so beautifully. You are very free to continue in your fangirling.^^

...but I'm still mad. T_T

Sure, sure just forget about your poor SED. You know how much I want to beat helike for the first comment and then you do something like this. ;____;
Of course I liked it! They hate each other but can't live without each other either. Exactly my cup of tea!))) And your writing is always pretty.^^

Yeah, and I also thought you didn't exactly want her to know)))))))) Now she may))
*blushes* Well... this gave me rough time at the ending))) But I think I have ideas for a new one))))) I want to write a story that has a less dreamy feel (though I love such drabbles!) and more character interaction, but both the Doctor and the Master are too complicated for me... They're like on crack all the time. Btw, you'd love the way the Master behaves!
*hugs* Sowwy! I'll never do it again! <3 Me lurves you!

:O I love how you use the language to paint this picture of the Doctor among all this isolation and then--the Master's voice coming to him, comparing it to the Big Bang, too!--it makes it seem like the Doctor's universe has suddenly expanded and he's suddenly more aware of the Master and of the other Gallifreyan. :DD

His voice always starts out slowly, quietly, whispering to him, calling his name - like the first tentative notes of a concerto - and then it crashes down on him, washes all over him; powerful music chimes and swells and grows louder; it’s like opera. *_______* Music! ♥

I like how you make the Doctor live in silence, and the Master live with the sound of the drums. It's so... evocative and pretty. :)

They could share the drums and the silence; that way none would be too unbearable.
If you're talking about the drums and the silence not being unbearable anymore, I think "neither" would work better than "none" in this sentence. But anyway, I love the Doctor's yearning for home (... Gallifrey got destroyed, right? Cue my ( ... )

Oh yeees... The most tragic thing is that he doesn't even care that this last remaining Time Lord is an enemy and a psychopath. T_T All that matters that he's a Time Lord!
Music always wins!!! XDD
The Master himself said he couldn't get rid of the sound of drums))) He should have agreed to let the Doctor help))) I doubt he would have been able to, but still... companionship would have been nice))
Ouch... sorry, gonna fix it now! Thanks!
Gallifrey got destroyed as well as the invaders' fleet during the last Time War - and it was the Doctor who destroyed the, DX That makes it even more sad((
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it!

Sometimes I feel that it must be very hard to know that he will keep on living even as his companions age and die. How lonely that is. :(

Music! :DD

... and just what kind of companionship are you hinting at? :P

Aww, the Doctor had to destroy Gallifrey! :( ... agh. I really want to watch the series now... ^^;

That's why he doesn't wait for them to age. He abandons them)))
Uhm... I meant traveling together, but now that you mention it... ah, yeah! XDDD
GO WATCH! XDDDD I think I'm already deeply in love with this show!

Very nice imagery, and I enjoyed the comparison of the Master's drums to the silence you portrayed for the Doctor.

I'll be keeping my eye out for more :)

Oh, this is lovely.

His voice always starts out slowly, quietly, whispering to him, calling his name - like the first tentative notes of a concerto - and then it crashes down on him, washes all over him; powerful music chimes and swells and grows louder; it’s like opera. The Doctor listens and understands that he can only whisper his replies.

I really like that bit. A nice image.
