Another great installment. :) I love the cinematic imagery really coming to the fore in this part. I know I keep saying it, but your Cutler voice is really vivid in this story. I know you're only writing it for a bit of fun, but it's really good work, and I think that playfulness shows through in the writing - in a good way! XD

“Wow, you’ve got an extreme case of genre blindness, haven’t you? It’s okay.” He pats Hal’s shoulder condescendingly. “It’s just old age.”
His newfound boldness is intoxicating. - I am loving this new Cutler. His newfound boldness is intoxicating for the reader, too. <3

“I know it’s pretty much the end of the world,” she says, “but what do you know, my world’s already ended.” - A perfect little moment of angst in amongst the comedy. (Because somehow all the running and fighting seems like a sort of crazy comedy, even though it is actually deadly serious.) But this - and Annie kicking Cutler's arse - were just the right kind of understated moments when it all hit home ( ... )

Well, I'm writing everything for a bit of fun... doesn't mean I can't eventually kill off all the characters in a gruesome way and make the readers suffer. XDDD *_*
Hehe, whereas Hal is greatly puzzled by the new Cutler. Notice the lack of comebacks. XDDDD
I have a serious problem writing Annie. She doesn't seem... Annie-like. So I forced myself to write more of her. And well, it was about time someone did kick his arse))) They were all far too busy running away or failishly blowing up the Old Ones. XDD
the suntanned women/Hal LOOOL, this looks like Cutler wants to watch Hal with Brazilian women. XDDD (Then again, why not? XD))
Hal quoting books is hawtness. There must be more of it. XD Hal quotes books, Cutler quotes TV Tropes. >_<
Only a little mention of Hal/Cutler Hal/Cutler/books! XDDD OT3. XD
I'm working on work right now unfortunately, but I've got the next part planned out and will start writing shortly. XD I'm glad you're enjoying this. <333 Thank you so much!

Hal/Cutler/books/Brazilian women - OT4?!? LOL Although every time I see the word "Brazilian" I can't help thinking about the *ahem* personal grooming kind of Brazilian. ;) Now I'm picturing Hal making Cutler get that done - it would make his eyes water! LOL

Thank you! <333 I'm paranoid about my writing in general, but whenever I think that there's something off the characters, I get twice more paranoid. >_< So I'm really glad that you think they're not OOC. <3
Fingers crossed Cutler gets a happy(ier) ending! Maybe he gets to be Mr Snow's concubine when everybody else dies horribly. ;)))
Well, to be fair, he still seems kind of obsessed, which is good because that's what I love about this pairing. XD But yeah, glory and, in this case, survival are definitely on par with Hal-fixation. XD
