Mmmmm hmmm *purrs* I've been *so* looking forward to their first meeting~ And by 'them' I mean Wells and that nameless vampire, of course ;)

The context of this story gives an entirely new spin to the old saying about the wages of sin (and bad singing!) being death. Though if those wages is Anthony in particular, then it's more like a... reward. In loose terms ;)

The epigraph is very fitting)))

(Someting tells me Jones didn't have a reaper boyfriend (but no worries, he knew Baal :D), though if he had, it's not like he would have told Sparks.)

The psychodelic and whimsical structure and the repetitions that are very Anthony fighting against clear bits and pieces of memories that are Sparks echo/mirror their struggle and I think it's a cool experiment))) I think maybe the ending is a teensy bit too abrupt? Not that I don't love it -- it's just it happened so soon and left me wanting SO MUCH MOAR <333 ( ... )

I hope I didn't disappoint you. >_< All these experiments with style can be pretty distracting. I had a clear idea that they met under the same circumstances as shown in that series of Annie videos. I've been wanting to write that since I saw them; not to mention, it's a pretty rare vulnerable position for Sparks (like Head!Nick said: There's something about being so helpless ;))) It turned out so inverted and weird that I'm not sure I succeeded here ( ... )

Anthony is a darling <3 Yes, Sparks is all yours, he's too terrible :p

Anthony didn't just let him go Well, it came off rather ambiguous how it happened and only further stirred my curiosity, so I guess mission accomplished?

I don't think you can manage disappointing even if you tried.

Hmmm !

I really like the writing: it's sophisticated and clever. Very clever: like no word is used superfluously, and you create/paint a gritty world here that I'm curious about, and want to learn more of. And I love the insertion of quotes; it makes the work even more clever.

Buuuut, I don't really *get* the context that much, I admit ^_^;; I think I'd have to watch being Being Human to get it, right?

Anyhow, still clever writing <3

Thank you, darling! <333 Tbh I myself would want to learn more about it))) But for that I need to actually keep writing it.
Hehe, Anthony quotes a lot, yes. It's how most reapers talk. Our invention b/c reapers don't actually appear in the BH canon. They are mentioned as "men with sticks and rope" a few times, but that's it.
Like I said, watching it won't help, not here. It's basically an original 'verse already, just needs a bit of clean-up.
Thank you very much for your kind review! <3
