YOU WON’T CRY, I WON’T SCREAM
Daniel tells her stories, and she is forced to listen, trapped in the confines of her mechanical body. They are not even always actual stories, mostly just snippets, and he skips from one to another in a blink of an eye, without forming any link between them. She doesn’t even try to follow. It occurs to her that by now she knows this man better than the real Zoe ever did.
She loves this man more than the real Zoe ever did and she certainly hates him more. She just wonders how much of her he actually sees when he looks at her.
