Renji’s elbow sank into the pillow and his hand was propped under his head. Byakuya was lying down, his hair spread around his pillow like rivers of black ink flowing in all directions. The red-head ran his fingers through them, smoothing out non-existent tangles.

I loved all the little cameos from Isshin pestering Ryuuken to Yumichika's beautiful comment. They were all great.

Poor Renji so hot and bothered through the whole thing. Byakuya letting go physically and emotionally in the end like that was so wonderful.
